Join us for Summer Movie Magic presented by FirstBank! Experience this 1952 hit like never before – on the big screen in a historic theatre originally built as a movie palace surrounded by other movie-lovers, enjoying some popcorn and a cold drink. Before the film, hear the Mighty Wurlitzer organ fill the auditorium with magnificent music.
A spoof of the turmoil that afflicted the movie industry in the late 1920s when movies went from silent to sound. When two silent movie stars', Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen), latest movie is made into a musical a chorus girl (Debbie Reynolds) is brought in to dub Lina's speaking and singing. Don is on top of the world until Lina finds out. This film is 1 hour and 43 minutes long and is rated G.
