Event Operations Manager - Full-Time

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences? Do you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments? The Tennessee Theatre is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Operations Manager to ensure the seamless execution of our events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate & Coordinate: Work closely with various departments, including Operations, Tech, Advancement, Box Office, and Finance, to manage logistics and uphold our high standards of service.
  • Hands-On Involvement: Assist with inventory control, delivery/shipment receivables, event closing/settling, and support Advancement events.
  • Deliver Exceptional Experiences: Ensure artists, patrons, and stakeholders have an outstanding experience by handling logistics for performers and patrons with superior customer service skills.
  • Event Support: Provide crucial logistical support during events, managing doors, vending, and traffic flow.
  • Problem-Solve with Poise: Anticipate and de-escalate conflicts, manage emotionally charged situations, and respond to potential medical emergencies with confidence and care.

Box Office Ticket Seller - Part-Time

Do you love the energy of live events and providing excellent customer service? The Historic Tennessee Theatre Foundation (HTTF) is seeking an enthusiastic and people-oriented Ticket Seller to join our team. As a Ticket Seller, you'll be at the heart of the action, providing exceptional service and ensuring our guests have a memorable experience from the moment they purchase their tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticket Sales: Sell event tickets using Ticketmaster’s internal ticketing system at the Box Office during events.
  • Payment Handling: Collect payments via cash, check, or charge, ensuring accurate transactions and providing correct change to cash customers.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve ticketing issues within multiple systems, ensuring a smooth experience for our guests.
  • Customer Inquiries: Assist with questions about ticket availability, digital ticket access, and more, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members as needed.

Schedule:

  • Flexible Availability: Nights and weekends are required, as most events take place in the evenings or on weekends. While this is a part-time position, applicants must be available to work at least 25% of shows each month.
