Have fun learning with the Tennessee!

Children can explore their imagination with our coloring sheets or learn more about the theatre with our activity page.

Bring the Tennessee Theatre back to the classroom

The Tennessee Theatre has been hard at work developing education guides for teachers to use in the classroom. In addition to Audience Etiquette guides for various grade levels, we have also developed Post-Show Guides for music, theatre, and dance performances as well as Tennessee Theatre history. All guides incorporate Tennessee Fine Arts and/or History Standards.

Study guides are available in both English and Spanish for grades K-12.

Request access to these study guides by completing the form.

If you are an educator, parent, or organization serving teachers and students, sign up for our monthly Education newsletter.

Knox County STEM Field Trip Resources

For students in K-5, we are excited to be able to offer STEM field trip resources, created in partnership with the Knox County STEM Department. Using the Theatre STEM Field Trip Experience Guide, students will be able to learn just how a theatre like the Tennessee is constructed, have access to personalized lesson plans regarding STEM educational standards, and even have the opportunity to design their very own Theatre.

Special thanks to Jessica Greer and the Knox County STEM Department for creating these resources alongside us!

Educators' Night

We want to empower and inspire the educators who are leading the youth, audiences, and artists of tomorrow with special presentations, workshops, and talks. Educators' Nights provide an opportunity to learn from arts professionals, performers, and others working in arts education. These are available for select shows, and will be announced in our Educator Newsletter list and on social media.
