Marquee Awards Logo Design Contest

Creating quality art is a team-effort, including the talents of individuals from many different areas beyond the cast and crew involved in the show.  

The Tennessee Theatre is excited to provide the opportunity for visual arts and graphic design students to participate in our Marquee Awards logo contest. We are looking for submissions from high schoolers (grades 9-12) of a logo that will represent the Marquee Awards on all print and digital materials. 

Rules and Regulations

1. Students entering do not need to attend a school that has registered to participate in the Marquee Awards.
2. Students must be registered in grades 9-12.
3. Student must reside or attend school within a two-hour radius of Knoxville.
4. Logo must be submitted by Monday, May 19 at 5pm.
5. Three (3) fifinalists will be chosen by Tennessee Theatre staffff and will move on to public voting on social media. Finalists will be notified before voting begins.
6. Finalists will be chosen based on the scoring rubric available below.
7. Intellectual property:

• All Entrants affirm their submissions are their own original work, have not been copied from others or from previous designs, including their own, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
• All Entries will become the sole property of the Tennessee Theatre and may be used for any purposes.
• The Tennessee Theatre shall have the right to adapt, edit, modify, or otherwise use the winning submission in part or in its entirety in whatever manner it deems appropriate.
